Monochromatic outfits are quite a popular style right now. They are a bit tricky as they can easily be done well or very wrong. I gave this style my best attempt and absolutely love how it turned out.
And let's be honest, I searched Pinterest for some inspiration!
This plum color is one of my favorites and it truly looks good on everyone.
Per usual, these pieces are from Hello Luvvy.
I LOVE this turtleneck. Turtleneck are my go-to layering piece as I've found that the neck doesn't get droopy or messed up like it does on t-shirts.
I've also been shocked by how difficult it has been to find a GOOD turtleneck. This one is beautiful, fits well and has the cutest little button details on the sleeves. It's also available in olive. I'm wearing a size small because I felt that it fit my figure best and now that I'm post-grad I can steer clear of the XL section. ;)
Another fave, these pants which are so comfortable. They hit me right above my ankle and look so cute with heels or booties. I'm wearing a medium for length but could have also worn a small as the waist is forgiving.
I've worn these pants a ton, for Thanksgiving I paired them with a cream sweater and got so many compliments anddd I also wore that same outfit to church the Sunday before but whose counting. Seriously, they are versatile and the perfect staple piece for your closet!
Side note on these heels - they are from Target. This shoe style is one of my favorites to wear in the colder months, mostly because my toes don't feel like they are freezing off. I wouldn't say they are the most comfortable, but let's be honest what heels are?
What are your thoughts on the monochromatic style?
Have you attempted it or considered it?
I'd love to know!
