I wanted to share some of my favorite 2017 products with you. These products are reasonably priced but most importantly, very effective!
1. REDKEN One United
I just discovered this amazing treatment thanks to my incredible hair stylist, Fallon at Pizazz A Salon.
My favorite part about this treatment is the 25 benefits it offers to increase manageability, protection and beauty.
I spray a liberal amount throughout my hair right before I blow dry it.
Some major benefits I've experienced:
- Nourished my hair
- Helps prevent hair breakage
- Help control my fly-aways
- Helps control my frixx
I bought it off of Amazon as they had the best price I could find!
2. Not Your Mother's® Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray
To be quite honest I'm not sure how I could have made it through my haircut (6 inches) without this stuff. I spray a conservative amount after I blow dry my hair but before I style it and then again after I am finished styling it.
This spray does not leave any residue from what I've experienced and I can use it over the course of a few days before I was my hair again. It's the best texturizing spray I have found considering the quality and price.
3. *NEW* Not Your Mother's® Blonde Moment Treatment [Purple] Shampoo
This shampoo has a very heavy purple pigment and does NOT make your hair more blonde. However, it helps neutralize the brassy color treated hair can show which is why its my favorite. You use it in place of your regular shampoo 2 times a week or you mix it in with your regular shampoo if you're like me and only wash your hair twice a week. I have had great results!
4. Burt's Bees® Makeup Remover Pads
These makeup pads are amazing. I have fairly sensitive eyes and most makeup wipes, pads, solutions irritate my eyes to no end making it extremely difficult to put in my contacts the next morning.
I buy most of my beauty products at Walgreens. The Walgreens Balance Rewards card is amazing. It's free t sign up and there are no string attached. You earn money back with every purchase and can redeem it in store when you're ready. What's not to love?
I've been gradually switching all of my cleaning products and skincare products to natural products. You'd be shocked by the horrible things in most store bought products. Thankfully making the switch is easy and inexpensive with the right knowledge. New post on that coming soon. ;)
5. Viva® Naturals Coconut Oil
I cannot speak highly enough about coconut oil. It's extremely versatile.
You can use it to:
- As an ingredient in scrubs, soaps, etc *check out my post on the recent scrub I made*
- Moisturize (skin and hair)
- Take off makeup
I tend to use it when I cook, Sam uses it as a moisturizer and I use it to moisturize and take off makeup at night.
What were some of your favorite products from this year?
I'd love to hear from you!
